The Raven At The TowerEarly in 2005, architecture & design services were commissioned by Newman Design and Build, a medium sized property development company, to apply for planning and conservation area consents to redevelop the site of The Raven at the Tower, a fire damaged public house situated to the south of Tower Bridge. Architecture & design services prepared a full planning application and conservation area consent application for the project and, after almost a year and a half, the Local Planning Authority granted permission for the development. The site has subsequently been sold and is being developed.
As part of this commission, architecture & design services prepared drawings, supporting documentation, including a design statement, sustainability statement and development justification and co-ordinated other consultants, such as daylight/sunlight specialists, acoustic engineers and structural engineers to ensure that the applications were successful.
