North Hertfordshire Leisure Centre

In late 2005, architecture & design services were approached by Borras Construction Ltd to tender for the refurbishment of North Hertfordshire Leisure Centre on a design and build basis.

The project consisted of major reconfiguration of existing facilities on the ground and first floors of the leisure centre to provide members only gymnasium, health suite and changing facilities as well as multi purpose function rooms and the refurbishment of existing circulation spaces.

Borras and architecture & design services were commissioned by North Hertfordshire District Council in February 2006.

The scheme was developed from an outline plan provided by the employer's agent.

Architecture & design services completed the production of detailed room data sheets as well as carrying out a measured survey, an accessibility assessment and producing accessibility statements and detailed design drawings to satisfy the requirements of the Building Regulations.
