The Warren School, Romford.

In October 2007, architecture & design services were commissioned to assist the Senior Management Team of The Warren School, in Romford, to prepare a full condition survey of their premises.

The Warren School is a heavily over-subscribed and expanding mixed comprehensive of 1400. The school benefits from being in a consortium of three other schools and delivers a cross-section of post-16 courses.

architecture & design services carried out detailed, visual, surveys of every room and building to ascertain their physical condition, schedule out and to prioritise maintenance tasks and repairs and provide budget costings to allow a maintenance schedule to be prepared.

Subsequently, architecture & design services were approached and asked to help redesign the schools toilet provision to minimise bullying and maintenance liabilities.

The Schedule of Conditions was issued in February 2008. The refurbishment of the toilets is still in the planning phase.
