2 Theydon Place

In March 2007 architecture & design services were commissioned by a private client to extend their 1960s, distinctive, bungalow in a contemporary manner. The brief was to convert the existing loft space to provide 3 further bedrooms and to extend the ground floor to provide additional living accommodation.

The proposed scheme that was developed by architecture & design services involved reconstructing 2/3rds of the roof to create sufficient headroom for the loft conversion, a new porch at the front and a significant extension to the rear.

A planning application was approved in June 2007 and preparations are underway for the construction process.
